Junior Associate — Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss, Edinburgh

Join a busy Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss team in Edinburgh as an NQ–2 years PQE junior associate. You will work on high-value personal injury and large-loss matters, assisting senior lawyers while managing your own caseload in a flexible, collaborative environment.

The role involves liability investigations, quantum assessment across multi-track claims, drafting legal documents, preparing witness statements and reviewing medical evidence. You will service insurer, corporate and public-sector clients, comply with client SLAs, and contribute to business development and team initiatives.

• NQ–2 years PQE (or equivalent) in personal injury litigation, with exposure to catastrophic injury/large-loss cases
• Experience with liability investigations, witness statements, medical record review and case management
• Strong drafting skills and ability to handle interlocutory proceedings, CCMCs and client meetings
• Client-focused, organised, able to meet SLAs and work collaboratively in a team
