The role involves delivering client-facing legal services for disadvantaged individuals and not-for-profit organisations, working within established pro bono criteria and with referral partners.
This is an opportunity to work closely with social support services, manage a varied caseload, and contribute to access-to-justice work while developing practical skills in client interviewing, file management and plain-English legal communication.
- Admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
- Demonstrated commitment to pro bono, social justice or work with disadvantaged communities.
- Experience collaborating with social workers, support services or community organisations to provide holistic client support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality-checked work.
- Clear, empathetic verbal and written communication using plain English for clients with complex needs.
- Flexible approach to priorities and working arrangements; competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
