Short-term (12-month) secondment role for a junior lawyer to join a dedicated pro bono practice supporting a community legal organisation in Perth. The role involves delivering client-facing legal services for disadvantaged individuals and not-for-profit organisations, working within established pro bono criteria and with referral partners.

This is an opportunity to work closely with social support services, manage a varied caseload, and contribute to access-to-justice work while developing practical skills in client interviewing, file management and plain-English legal communication.

Admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Demonstrated commitment to pro bono, social justice or work with disadvantaged communities.
Experience collaborating with social workers, support services or community organisations to provide holistic client support.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality-checked work.
Clear, empathetic verbal and written communication using plain English for clients with complex needs.
Flexible approach to priorities and working arrangements; competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
