Senior transactional attorney role focused on applying legal technology and AI to M&A and private equity workstreams. The role sits within a firmwide knowledge and AI group and is based in a U.S. office (New York preferred), collaborating across practice groups, research, IT, and practice management teams.

The position combines substantive transactional credibility with product- and workflow-oriented thinking: evaluating and piloting AI tools, building precedent and drafting infrastructure, and translating lawyer feedback into scalable knowledge and automation solutions. The role reports to senior legal operations and knowledge leadership and includes training, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement activities.

J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the state of base; in good standing
Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in M&A and/or private equity (other transactional backgrounds considered)
Demonstrated interest and experience with AI/emerging technology applied to legal workflows; coding or technical building experience highly valued
Strong written and verbal communication, discretion with confidential information, and ability to work cross-functionally
