Apply in confidence →12‑month fixed-term opening for a Knowledge Lawyer to support a global financial services regulatory practice. The role will manage and deliver know‑how, precedents and practice guidance for the Financial Services Regulatory group, with a focus on asset management, investment funds and financial institutions work.
You will work closely with partners and senior fee‑earners to originate, curate and maintain market‑leading materials, horizon‑scan regulatory developments, support matter teams on technical queries, and champion legal technology (including generative AI) to improve service delivery.
This is a hands‑on knowledge/PSL style role that combines legal expertise in UK/EU financial services regulation with project delivery, stakeholder engagement and technology adoption.
- Qualified solicitor with approximately 7–10 years PQE in financial services regulatory work.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK and EU regulation relevant to asset management, investment funds, banking, markets and payments; practical familiarity with FCA and PRA rules.
- Experience in private practice financial services regulatory teams; prior professional support/knowledge management experience is desirable.
- Excellent drafting, research and project management skills; proven ability to produce client‑ready know‑how and precedents.
- Commercial mindset, collaborative team player and proactive in adopting legal technology (including generative AI) to streamline delivery.
