The role provides practice support, knowledge-management and AI/technology adoption assistance to the private funds team, with responsibilities spanning precedent maintenance, legal research, and coordinating firm-wide precedents and opinion templates.
Key duties include horizon scanning and drafting team updates on regulatory, enforcement and market developments; producing client-facing thought leadership and supporting pitches; and organising and delivering training (internal and client-facing), including CLE administration.
The role works closely with lawyers, legal technology teams and practice groups to curate and make accessible templates, checklists and know‑how, pilot third‑party tech solutions, and identify opportunities to streamline fund workflows.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited US law school and admission to the New York bar.
- Approximately 5 years' post‑qualification experience practising in fund formation (private/closed‑end fund structures) and related regulatory matters.
- Strong legal research, precedent development and knowledge‑management experience.
- Experience delivering training and producing client‑facing thought leadership; excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Submission materials should include resume and law school transcript(s).
