Apply in confidence →An established New York corporate practice is seeking a Knowledge Management Lawyer to develop and run knowledge strategy, precedents and practice resources for transactional groups. You will partner with attorneys and practice management teams to capture, organize and disseminate forms, model documents and research; keep materials current; and ensure easy access through practice portals.
The role leads practice innovation and legal-technology initiatives, including document automation, contract analysis tools, e-signature and transaction-management solutions, and pilots emerging AI applications. You will also design and deliver training, provide day-to-day support to practitioners, and work with business development to turn know-how into client-facing thought leadership.
This position is office-based on a regular hybrid schedule (typically three or more days per week) and involves collaboration across KM, IT, practice management and business development teams.
- J.D. and a minimum of 3+ years of corporate legal experience (law firm or in-house).
- At least 1 year of experience in knowledge management or legal technology support.
- Familiarity with transactional practice workflows and precedent management; experience with private equity, private credit, finance or tax matters is a plus.
- Strong drafting, research, organizational and training skills; comfortable with legal technologies (document automation, contract analysis, e-signature, client collaboration tools).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, pragmatic and team-oriented approach, and ability to work with stakeholders across business services.
