Apply in confidence →Seeking a Knowledge Strategy Lawyer to join a major litigation practice in Washington, D.C. This hybrid role partners with practice leadership and business-services teams to develop and maintain practice-specific know-how, precedents, training materials, and client-facing content, and to drive adoption of KM tools.
The role leads initiatives to evaluate and pilot legal technology — including document automation and generative AI — and translates attorney workflows into scalable, tech-enabled solutions. The position also supports thought leadership, market intelligence, pitch materials, and associate mentoring within the practice group.
- J.D. and active bar membership in good standing
- Approximately four years’ post-qualification experience practicing in litigation at a large law firm
- Demonstrated knowledge-management or practice-solutions experience; strong understanding of litigation workflows and precedents
- Experience or strong interest in legal technology and AI (document automation, eDiscovery, generative AI) and in piloting/adopting new tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication, training, and stakeholder-engagement skills
- High attention to detail, strong project management skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
