Apply in confidence →National law firm is seeking an alternative-track associate to join a busy Labor & Employment practice. The role focuses on representing employers in state and federal EEO agency matters, drafting agency position statements, and supporting agency investigations, mediations and related litigation preparedness.
The position is resident in any U.S. office and is non-partnership track. The team also supports business development activities, including client-facing drafting (law flashes, white papers, pitches) and may value prior human-resources or in-house employment experience.
- Law firm employment-law experience with familiarity handling state and federal EEO agency matters (EEOC or state agencies)
- Strong drafting skills including agency position statements and investigation memoranda
- Ability to support investigations, mediations and related client counseling
- Active bar membership in the state of the office to which you apply
- Prior HR experience preferred but not required
