Top-tier national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its Portland, OR office. The role focuses on employment litigation and counseling across a range of workplace matters, with frequent client contact and collaboration across offices.

The successful candidate will handle discovery and initial pleadings, draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions. This position suits a proactive attorney who can manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice and who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Admission to practice in Oregon
2–7 years' post-qualification experience, with prior employment litigation experience required (management-side experience preferred)
Experience drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, briefing and arguing motions, and handling depositions
Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage competing priorities; self-starter who works well on teams
Interest or experience in employment counseling and training a plus; hybrid work model
