The role focuses on employment litigation and counseling, with a significant emphasis on wage‑and‑hour matters, class and collective actions, and client advisory work.
The team handles high‑stakes federal and state litigation as well as preventive counseling, policy drafting, and employment due diligence in transactions. The position offers responsibility for leading matters, supervising junior lawyers, and working directly with clients to develop practical solutions.
- 4–7 years of post‑qualification employment law experience (litigation focus).
- Proven experience with employment litigation: court appearances, depositions, discovery, and dispositive briefing.
- Experience handling wage & hour matters, single‑plaintiff and class/collective actions; drafting motions (summary judgment, class oppositions), arbitration motions, and long‑form settlement agreements preferred.
- Client counseling experience on policies, handbooks, leaves, accommodations, hiring/termination and employment agreements; labor due diligence experience a plus.
- Strong academic record, excellent legal writing, and ability to supervise junior associates; federal clerkship preferred.
