Labor & Employment Associate — Costa Mesa, CA

Leading national labor and employment practice seeks an experienced Associate to join its Costa Mesa office. The role focuses on defending employers in single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation in court and arbitration, and on investigating and responding to administrative charges.

There are opportunities to advise clients on day-to-day employment matters, draft policies and handbooks, and deliver trainings. The team provides structured professional development, writing and speaking opportunities, and a comprehensive attorney benefits package.

• Juris Doctor and active membership in the California bar, in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in California labor & employment law; civil litigation and/or trial experience preferred.
• Experience defending employment claims in court and arbitration and handling administrative charges.
• Excellent analytical and drafting skills, strong organization and multitasking ability, and commitment to client service and practice development.
• Strong academic record.
