Labor & Employment Associate — Florham Park, NJ

Leading national law firm seeks a 2–4 year Labor & Employment associate for its Florham Park, New Jersey office. The role offers a mix of employment litigation and counseling work for a diverse client base across industries.

Typical matters include defense-side litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims, as well as employer counseling on terminations, leaves, performance management, wage & hour issues, and drafting personnel policies and employment agreements. The team provides substantive mentoring and exposure to regional and national matters.

• 2–4 years post-qualification experience in employment-side defense litigation at a regional or national law firm
• Experience handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower and wage & hour matters; counseling employers on terminations, leaves, performance and policy drafting
• Strong academic record, excellent writing, interpersonal and analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Admission and good standing with the New Jersey bar; New York admission preferred
