Labor & Employment Associate — Los Angeles

Growing Los Angeles labor & employment team seeks a litigation-focused associate to represent employers in workplace disputes. The role involves defending single-plaintiff and collective/wage-and-hour matters, participating in class-action litigation, and supporting broader employment counseling engagements.

Day-to-day work includes managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and pleadings, participating in hearings, and assisting with trial preparation. Candidates will join a collaborative, national practice with opportunities for client-facing responsibility.

• 1–3 years post-qualification experience representing employers in employment litigation
• Hands-on experience with single-plaintiff employment cases, wage & hour matters, and employment class actions
• Experience across litigation phases: discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation
• Exposure to employment counseling and traditional labor matters (arbitrations, NLRB proceedings, collective bargaining) is a plus
• Excellent writing, research, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Admission to the California bar required
