Apply in confidence →Seeking a 2–4 year associate to join a national labor & employment practice in the Philadelphia office. The role focuses on employer-side employment litigation and counseling, with exposure to complex matters including wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and related claims.
The associate will work closely with senior lawyers across multiple offices, support client counseling on leave, performance management, wage-and-hour compliance, and terminations, and assist with drafting personnel policies and employment agreements. There are opportunities to interact directly with clients across a range of industries and to develop courtroom and counseling experience.
- 2–4 years of defense-side employment & labor experience (preferred)
- Substantive experience with wage & hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and other employment claims; class/collective action experience a plus
- Experience advising employers on leaves of absence, performance management, wage-and-hour compliance, terminations, and drafting personnel policies/employment agreements
- Strong academic record, excellent writing and analytical skills, and collegial interpersonal abilities
- Admission in good standing to the PA bar; NJ admission preferred
