Apply in confidence →Growing national law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Litigation associate to join its Seattle office. The role involves handling both class action and single‑plaintiff employment litigation matters and administrative charge work across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
Responsibilities include drafting position statements and motions, managing discovery and depositions, preparing for mediations, arbitrations, and trials, and conducting legal research on complex employment issues. Depending on experience, the role may also advise HR professionals and business leaders on compliance and assist with employment agreements.
- 2–5 years of litigation experience in labor & employment matters (class actions and individual suits preferred)
- Experience with wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, and administrative charge work
- Strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills; experience preparing motions, discovery, and trial materials
- Ability to counsel HR and business clients on employment law compliance and draft employment documents
- Detail oriented, collaborative, and able to manage docketed litigation deadlines
