Leading national labor & employment practice seeks a mid-senior litigation associate to join its Pittsburgh office. This role involves front-line litigation and counseling on complex employment disputes and sensitive workforce issues for corporate and private-equity clients.

Typical matters include restrictive covenant and trade-secret litigation, executive mobility counseling, employment compliance and risk management, and employment diligence and integration work in M&A and private equity transactions. The position offers substantial responsibility, early client exposure, and work alongside senior litigation counsel on high-stakes, time-sensitive matters.

  • Approximately 5 years’ post-qualification employment/labor litigation experience
  • Proven experience with restrictive covenant, trade-secret, or executive mobility matters
  • Familiarity with employment aspects of M&A or private equity transactions (diligence, integration) preferred
  • Strong litigation, drafting, and client counseling skills; able to manage urgent, high‑stakes matters and work under pressure
