Apply in confidence →National law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment practice attorney to join its Phoenix litigation team. This is a non-shareholder, practice-group role focused on employment litigation (including class actions and restrictive covenant/trade-secret matters) with an emphasis on hands‑on case responsibility rather than advisory/consulting work.
The role is structured for flexibility within BigLaw-style practice: reduced billable-hour expectations (substantially below typical BigLaw targets) and enhanced remote-work options. The position offers a reduced caseload while providing opportunities to assume ownership of matters and develop substantive expertise in federal and state employment laws.
Candidates should be ready to work in a collaborative practice group environment and be willing to become licensed in Arizona if not already admitted.
- Admission to the Arizona State Bar, or willingness to gain admission quickly.
- Strong litigation experience and comfort taking day‑to‑day responsibility on cases; employment litigation experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge or willingness to develop substantive expertise in Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and related state employment laws.
- Excellent writing, analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities; reliable references and solid academic credentials.
