Seeking a transactional-focused Labor & Employment associate to join a national practice that sits at the intersection of employment law and corporate deal work. The role emphasizes employment issues that affect enterprise value, post‑closing integration, and executive transitions rather than traditional labor litigation.

You will support deal teams and private equity sponsors on employment diligence, draft and negotiate executive employment and separation agreements, advise on restrictive covenants and executive mobility, and assist with post‑transaction workforce integration and sensitive personnel matters.

Position may be based in Dallas, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, or Chicago. The team offers competitive compensation, development support, and visibility on high‑stakes, client‑facing matters.

  • 3–6 years of post‑qualification experience in U.S. employment law with a transactional focus
  • Experience conducting employment diligence in M&A or private equity transactions
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills for executive employment, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements
  • Ability to advise on executive mobility and post‑transaction workforce integration; excellent judgment and client communication skills
