Apply in confidence →Experienced employment associate sought for a transactional-focused labor & employment team. The role sits at the intersection of employment law and corporate deal practice, supporting M&A, private equity, and executive-transition matters where personnel issues affect deal value and integration.
Day-to-day work includes diligence, drafting and negotiating executive employment and separation agreements, advising on restrictive covenants and executive mobility, and supporting post-closing workforce integration and sensitive personnel matters. You will collaborate closely with corporate deal teams and private equity sponsors on high-stakes, time-sensitive matters.
This is an opportunity to build a blended transactional and strategic-advisory practice in a fast-paced environment where judgment, discretion, and responsiveness are highly valued. The role may be based in Pittsburgh (other regional office options exist).
- 3–6 years of experience in labor & employment with significant transactional exposure (M&A, private equity, or corporate deal work)
- Experience with employment diligence, executive employment/separation agreements, and restrictive covenant issues
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills; ability to provide strategic, high‑stakes advice
- Comfort working collaboratively with corporate deal teams and private equity clients on accelerated timelines
- Active bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
