Mid-level associate role in a national employment and pensions practice based in Montréal. The team advises public and private employers, financial institutions and investors on a broad range of labour and employment matters across Canada and the United States.

The position involves day-to-day employment law counseling and transactional support, including recruitment and hiring practices, human rights, disciplinary matters, terminations, compensation disputes and restrictive covenants. The role offers a collaborative team environment with a flexible annual billable target and opportunities to handle cross-border matters.

3–6 years PQE in labour and employment law
Advising clients on recruitment/hiring, terminations, compensation disputes and restrictive covenants; experience in transactional employment matters
Ability to assess conflict-resolution strategies and support potential litigation (asset)
Strong academic credentials, sound judgment and practical problem‑solving
Capacity to manage multiple files, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate complex concepts clearly
Member in good standing with the Barreau du Québec
