Land Use and Environmental Associate — Environmental

Seeking a mid-level land use and environmental associate to join a West Coast land use and environmental practice. The role is based in California with preferred office locations on the Los Angeles/SoCal coast.

Candidates will work on writ-based CEQA and housing-related litigation, traditional environmental litigation, and land use entitlement matters. Regulatory counseling under state and federal environmental laws is also part of the practice, and candidates with strong litigation skills who can transfer into land use work will be considered.

Admission to the California bar and strong research and writing abilities are required. The role requires in-office presence several days per week.

• Minimum 3 years' litigation experience, including writ-based CEQA or California housing litigation, or environmental litigation
• Experience with land use entitlements and CEQA analyses; regulatory counseling under state and federal environmental laws preferred
• Admission to the California bar
• Strong research and writing skills
• Ability to work a minimum of three days in the office
