Land Use and Environmental Associate

Growing West Coast land use and environmental team is seeking an experienced associate or counsel to handle CEQA, land use entitlement work, regulatory counseling, and related litigation. The role will be based in California with preferred offices in Los Angeles (Century City) or Newport Beach.

The team handles writ-based CEQA and housing-law litigation, traditional environmental litigation, and entitlement and permitting matters. Strong research and writing skills, litigation experience, and comfort advising clients on state and federal environmental regulatory issues are essential.

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with litigation experience, including CEQA or environmental litigation
• Experience with land use entitlements and CEQA analyses; regulatory counseling under state and federal environmental laws preferred
• Admission to the California bar required
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work on-site a minimum of three days per week in a California office
