Lateral Associate — Appellate & Constitutional Law — Washington, D.C.

Top-tier litigation team in Washington, D.C. is seeking an associate to join its appellate and constitutional practice. The role focuses on briefing, legal research, and advising on strategy in both appellate and trial courts, as well as on certain administrative and regulatory matters.

Successful candidates will contribute to motions and briefs, assist with case and client management, and support strategy development across pretrial, trial, and appellate phases. Work may include participation in administrative notice-and-comment processes.

• Law school class years 2019–2022 (entry-level to early associate)
• Experience with appellate litigation in state or federal court; strong brief-writing skills
• Comfort researching and drafting motions, briefs, and substantive legal analysis
• Clerkship experience (district or appellate) preferred but not required
