The role sits in the General Counsel’s office and focuses on identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflicts and ethical issues before lateral hires join or matters transfer.
Typical work includes reviewing conflict questionnaires and reports, drafting memoranda, waiver and notice letters, advising on rules of professional responsibility, and coordinating with candidates and internal teams to facilitate timely onboarding. The team works to tight deadlines on large-volume matters and requires close collaboration with other conflicts attorneys and intake personnel.
Position offers a primarily business-hours schedule with some on-call rotation, remote work options (subject to approval), and occasional travel to the Atlanta office.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active law license in your jurisdiction.
- Minimum ~3 years of post-JD legal experience preferred.
- Experience reviewing conflict reports, drafting waivers/letters, and advising on professional conduct rules preferred.
- Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills; ability to manage large volumes of information under tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
