National law firm with a substantial antitrust practice is seeking a lateral partner to join its Virginia Beach office to lead and grow client work across merger reviews, civil litigation and competition compliance matters.

The role will involve handling high-stakes antitrust investigations and litigation, advising clients on transaction-related regulatory risk, and coordinating multi-jurisdictional matters with colleagues across the firm. The team offers institutional support and a platform for business development.

Open to candidates with an established antitrust practice and a track record of bringing or growing client relationships. Partnership-track responsibilities include matter origination, team leadership, and contributing to practice strategy.

Proven partner-level experience in antitrust and competition law (merger review, civil antitrust litigation, compliance)
Experience leading matters and supervising teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters
Demonstrable business development ability and a portable practice or client relationships
Bar admission in Virginia or eligibility to transfer/obtain admission
Strong commercial judgment and excellent written and oral advocacy skills
