Established Belgian firm is seeking a lateral partner to strengthen its antitrust & competition practice from the Lommel office. The role focuses on competition work across regulated sectors, with particular emphasis on transportation and energy-related matters.

The successful candidate will join a compact, sector-focused team and be expected to lead complex competition mandates, advise on regulatory interfaces, and support business development across the Benelux region.

We are looking for an experienced partner with a portable practice who can both originate and execute work; this is a hands-on senior role combining fee-earning and client growth responsibilities.

Proven partner-level experience in antitrust & competition matters, ideally with exposure to transportation and energy sectors.
Track record of leading investigations, merger control filings and/or complex competition litigation or regulatory advice.
Proven client development ability and a portable practice appropriate for a partner hire.
Licensed to practise in Belgium or eligible to be admitted; strong commercial awareness and team leadership skills.
