Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its compliance and government & public law practice in the Irvine/Orange County office. The role will focus on advising regulated entities and public-sector clients on regulatory compliance, government-facing matters, and investigations.

The successful candidate will join an established team working across regulatory risk, policy engagement, and compliance program design and implementation. This is an opportunity to lead client relationships, contribute to business development, and work on matters that intersect public-sector law and regulatory frameworks.

Applicants with a portable practice or established client relationships in the regulatory/compliance space are encouraged to apply; the role supports partners who can bring and grow their own book of business.

Proven partner-level experience in regulatory, compliance, or government/public law.
Track record advising corporate or public-sector clients on compliance programs, investigations, or regulatory enforcement.
Established business development capability; candidates with portable client relationships preferred.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and strong professional references.
