Lateral Partner, Corporate / M&A — Vancouver

Senior hire opportunity with a well‑regarded full‑service Canadian firm seeking a partner to join its Vancouver corporate team. The role is opportunistic — the firm is open to strong laterals who will help grow mid‑market corporate, M&A and securities work.

Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial, commercially minded and want a platform to expand an existing practice in corporate transactions, public or private securities/finance, and general corporate matters. The team welcomes candidates with a portable practice but will consider exceptional hires who show clear potential to build a book.

• Established partner-level experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A, securities (public or private finance) or general corporate transactions.
• Proven ability to develop and manage a mid‑market transactional practice; portable book of business preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrable business‑development capability.
• Admission to the relevant Canadian provincial bar (or eligibility) and interest in practising from the Vancouver office.
