Lateral Partner, Cross-Border Private Capital & Restructuring — New York

Experienced partner sought to join a leading international law firm’s cross-border private capital and restructuring practice. The role focuses on advising private equity sponsors, credit investors and corporates on complex finance, special situations and restructuring matters involving the US and Europe.

This is a growth opportunity to help build a transatlantic bench: you will work closely with US and UK teams on high-value deals and workouts, lead client relationships and contribute to business development. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in private capital, finance or special situations will be highly valued.

• Established partner-level private equity, finance or restructuring practice with significant cross-border experience (US–UK/Europe).
• Track record of originating and leading complex transactions and restructurings; proven client development ability and a portable practice or demonstrable client relationships.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams across multiple offices and jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and negotiating skills, and ability to work effectively with finance, corporate and insolvency specialists.
