Established national law firm is seeking a Lateral Partner to join its Employment & Labor litigation practice in the Livingston office. The role will focus on defending and counseling employers in workplace disputes, labor matters and related litigation.

The successful candidate will help lead local litigation matters, work alongside a regional team of employment lawyers, and contribute to business development initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to shape the office s employment litigation offering while handling a mix of trial and pre-trial work.

Proven track record as a civil litigation partner with significant experience in labor & employment matters.
Skill in courtroom and evidentiary processes, motion practice and managing complex discovery.
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships; portable book of business or demonstrable origination capacity preferred.
Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility for admission; strong team leadership and mentoring skills.
