Apply in confidence →Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established Washington, D.C. litigation team with a strong international arbitration and cross-border disputes practice. The role involves leading complex investor-state and commercial arbitration matters, courtroom and tribunal advocacy, and managing multi-jurisdictional cases.
The hire will supervise and develop associates, coordinate with global colleagues, and work closely with clients on strategy and risk management. The team is looking for a senior lawyer who can contribute to and expand an international disputes practice.
- Established partner with substantial experience in international arbitration and complex commercial or investor-state disputes.
- Proven record of leading matters and teams, including tribunal advocacy and client-facing responsibility.
- Ability to develop business or bring a portable practice; demonstrated client origination welcome.
- Strong written and oral advocacy, and experience coordinating multi-jurisdictional litigation/arbitration.
