Established national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Walnut Creek office to lead and grow a tax-litigation practice. The role will combine courtroom and regulatory representation with counseling on tax-related disputes and exposures.

The partner will handle complex contested matters, supervise associates, and collaborate with cross‑office teams. There will be expectations for client development and contributing to the office's commercial growth while delivering high‑quality litigation and tax advice.

Established partner-level experience in tax litigation or closely related tax controversy work
Proven trial and/or contested matter experience and the ability to manage teams on complex disputes
Track record of business development or ability to originate work; portable practice welcome
Active bar admission and strong client-management and communication skills
