Top-tier national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its New York tax practice. The role involves leading and growing a tax advisory practice, working on complex federal and state tax matters for corporate and transactional clients across industries.

The successful candidate will take a senior role within the team: advising on tax structuring, leading client engagements, mentoring associates, and contributing to business development efforts. This is an opportunity to join an established, interdisciplinary practice with national reach.

Established tax partner with significant transactional and/or advisory experience
Proven ability to manage client relationships and originate work; a portable practice or demonstrable business development track record is preferred
Deep technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax law and experience advising corporate clients
Experience supervising teams and collaborating across practice groups
Bar admission in New York or eligibility to transfer admission
