Leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Transportation & Maritime team in London. The role will combine maritime transactional and advisory work with complex shipping and port-related matters for a diverse client base.

The team advises owners, operators, insurers and financial institutions on cross-border shipping, charterparty disputes, casualty response, and commercial shipping transactions. The successful candidate will take a senior client-facing role and help expand the practice in the UK and international markets.

Applicants with an established, portable practice or demonstrable client relationships in maritime/transportation law are encouraged to apply; the firm supports partners joining with a transferable book of business.

Established partner-level experience in maritime and transportation law, including transactional and contentious work.
Proven track record of client origination and relationship management; portable practice preferred.
Strong commercial judgement, excellent drafting and advocacy skills, and experience on cross-border matters.
Admission to practise in England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction; ability to work from the London office.
