Law & Motion Associate / Of Counsel — Employment Litigation (San Juan, PR; Remote — CA-bar required)

Remote opportunity for an attorney focused on employment and labor litigation. The role is based out of Puerto Rico (San Juan) but requires active admission to the California bar; candidates must be able to comply with California ethical requirements.

This position centers on law-and-motion work across employment litigation matters: legal research and drafting of dispositive, discovery and trial motions; appellate briefs; pleadings and discovery responses; and preparation of mediation materials. The role is non-partnership track and includes collaboration with litigation teams and professional development resources.

The position carries a standard annual hours requirement and is available to candidates nationwide in states where the hiring firm maintains an office, with primary qualification tied to California practice experience.

• Admission to and good standing with the California State Bar; compliance with resident-state ethical rules where applicable.
• Minimum ~4 years of California employment litigation experience to be considered at Associate level; typically 9+ years and first-chair experience for Of Counsel consideration.
• Proven experience drafting dispositive, discovery and trial motions, appellate briefs, pleadings and mediation materials.
• Strong legal research, writing, organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume document work under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills; comfort working with cross-functional litigation support and operations teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
