Join a national General Insurance team in Brisbane as a Lawyer/Associate working on property and construction insurance matters, including high-value recoveries, first‑party indemnity disputes and property damage defence work. The role involves end-to-end file management, client strategy, court work and preparing briefs and evidence, with appropriate partner supervision.

The team acts for major insurers, reinsurers and corporates on a range of litigated claims. This is a hybrid role with flexible working arrangements and support for remote working equipment, plus structured learning, career progression and firm-wide wellbeing and inclusion programs.

The culture is collaborative and client-focused; you will work closely with fee-earners across the practice and may have opportunities to supervise and mentor junior staff.

Minimum 3 years post-admission experience in general insurance law.
Proven experience with property/construction recoveries and insurer defence work.
Experience managing files and running matters through court proceedings.
Strong drafting, analytical and evidence-preparation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; client-facing experience.
Ability to prioritise, work in a team and supervise junior lawyers or paralegals.
