Join a nationally recognised environment and planning team in Sydney supporting a market-leading real estate and projects practice. The role combines litigation, transactional and advisory work across planning, pollution, biodiversity, compulsory acquisition, contaminated land, water regulation and heritage matters.

Day-to-day work includes conduct of litigation in the Land and Environment Court and other NSW jurisdictions, advising on planning pathways and compliance, drafting and negotiating planning and biodiversity agreements, and providing regulatory advice on major construction and property transactions. The team works with government, developers and institutional landowners.

  • 2–4 years post-admission experience primarily in environment and planning law
  • Practical experience or familiarity with the Land and Environment Court jurisdiction preferred
  • Strong litigation experience including court appearances, managing experts and instructing counsel
  • Excellent legal research, drafting and client-facing communication skills; commercial and pragmatic approach
