Typical duties include researching and advising on ethics and regulatory questions, drafting and updating firm policies, reviewing vendor and firm contracts, and delivering training on risk management matters. The role also handles special projects and provides practical legal advice to firm leadership.
- LLB or JD, licensed and in good standing.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in risk management at a large law firm or in-house.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills; substantive knowledge of professional conduct rules.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects, and familiar with large law firm processes.
