Apply in confidence →Senior litigation lawyer sought to join a growing Public Inquiries, Inquests & Public Law team in London. The role is fee-earning and will involve supporting statutory and non‑statutory inquiries, advising on inquests and public law challenges, and contributing to complex internal investigations and reviews.
Typical work includes managing large-scale disclosure and document-review exercises, advising on judicial review and related litigation (including national security-related matters), preparing and supporting witnesses for oral evidence, and liaising with core participants and other stakeholders.
The team offers visible involvement in high-profile, high-stakes matters, structured progression and a collaborative environment with opportunities to coach junior colleagues and contribute to business development.
- Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years PQE in litigation/public law.
- Proven litigation and project management experience, including large-scale disclosure/e‑disclosure and document-review projects.
- Experience of public inquiries, inquests, judicial review and related procedural work; exposure to national security or sensitive litigation an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills; ability to work independently and supervise junior staff.
- Commercial awareness and some client development experience, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
