We are seeking a lawyer to join a national firm's General Counsel Office to support compliance, ethics and risk-management across the firm. The role reports into the GC office and involves providing practical legal advice, updating firm policies, responding to ethics enquiries, and reviewing vendor and firm contracts.

The position will also include legal research and memoranda on professional responsibility, delivering training on risk-management topics, and supporting special projects as needed. The role is open to candidates able to work with colleagues across offices and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced professional services environment.

LLB or JD and licensed to practise, in good standing.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a risk-management or professional-responsibility role at a large law firm or in-house.
Bilingual in English and French.
Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills; working knowledge of the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Experience reviewing contracts, delivering training, and advising leadership on risk and compliance matters.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently, maintain confidentiality, and work efficiently with strong interpersonal and computer skills.
