Mid-level associate position on a busy real estate leasing team in the Garden City office of a large international law firm. The role focuses on drafting and negotiating commercial leases (primarily retail and office), with exposure to lease-related disputes including landlord-tenant and construction matters and bankruptcy issues.

Team members work collaboratively across leasing and lease-litigation matters and advise a mix of national and regional clients. The group seeks candidates who can manage multiple assignments, deliver timely client service, and take on increasing responsibility.

4–6 years of commercial leasing experience, ideally gained at a peer law firm; significant New York City leasing experience preferred
Demonstrated drafting and negotiation skills on retail and office leases; industrial leasing experience a plus
Admission to the New York bar required
Strong academic credentials, excellent time-management, communication and client-service skills
