We are seeking a proactive, commercially minded Legal Associate to join a well-established UAE practice team focused on Intellectual Property and Data Protection. The role combines hands-on IP work with privacy/regulatory advisory and requires close coordination across corporate and disputes teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on trademarks, licensing, enforcement and portfolio management; handling data protection compliance and policy work; drafting and negotiating commercial, technology and IP-related agreements; and managing client communications and cross-practice delivery. The role also supports business development and practice growth activities.

Qualified lawyer with approximately 4–6 years PQE in IP and data protection
Strong experience advising on trademarks, licensing, enforcement and portfolio management
Practical knowledge of privacy/regulatory compliance and related advisory work
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial, technology or IP-related agreements
Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across corporate and litigation teams
Client-facing, business-development oriented, excellent drafting and communication skills
