8-month full-time (hybrid) opportunity based in the Illawarra region for an experienced commercial lawyer with strong employment and HR capability. The role sits within a flexible legal resourcing team that supplies experienced lawyers to corporate and not-for-profit clients in the health sector.

You will manage complex employment matters and staff complaints, provide practical commercial advice, and work directly with senior leadership and executive stakeholders. The role requires someone who can hit the ground running, work autonomously, and adapt legal solutions to organisational needs.

Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience in commercial or employment law.
Proven experience managing complex employment matters, investigations or workplace complaints.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills; comfortable briefing and advising senior executives.
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and to prioritise competing matters.
Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia.
