Short-term (typically six-month) interim compliance roles based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Assignments are embedded within a global law firm’s consulting platform or placed directly with major regional corporates across energy, logistics and infrastructure sectors.

Typical responsibilities include advising on anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions and export controls, sector-specific regulatory issues, third-party due diligence, internal investigations, policy development, training and M&A-related compliance work. Roles may be office-based or hybrid depending on the assignment.

Consultants receive ongoing professional support from the platform, including access to training, knowledge resources and mentoring while remaining responsible for their own professional development and engagement with client teams.

  • Minimum 5–8 years post-qualification experience in compliance (law firm and/or in-house background)
  • Practical exposure to anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions/export controls and compliance programme delivery
  • Experience relevant to energy, logistics, infrastructure or M&A-related compliance preferred; multinational/regional (GCC/Middle East) experience desirable
  • Fluency in Arabic (including drafting) preferred; practising certificate or equivalent permitting regional practice
  • Consultant mindset: adaptable, professional, able to work autonomously and engage with senior stakeholders
