Opportunity for a 5–7 PQE non-contentious construction lawyer to join a global law firm’s consulting platform on full-time, fixed-term assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Assignments typically run six months or longer, with some opportunities for flexible arrangements.

Work will focus on drafting and negotiating construction and infrastructure agreements (including FIDIC and bespoke forms), O&M/FM contracts and related documentation for energy, transport and major infrastructure projects across the GCC. Successful candidates will provide front-end transactional support and template drafting for both public and private sector clients.

5–7 years’ post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction, projects or infrastructure work
Proven experience drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, and O&M/FM agreements
Experience on projects across energy, transport, buildings or large infrastructure desirable
Background at a top-tier firm for construction/projects; recent in-house experience with an energy, transport or infrastructure organisation is advantageous
Consultancy mindset — flexible, client-facing, able to take ownership of assignments
Practising certificate or equivalent entitlement to practise in the region; Middle East experience and Arabic language skills preferred
