Short-term (approx. 3 months) full-time, hybrid opportunity for an experienced corporate/commercial lawyer to join an in-house legal team within the commercial real estate sector in Sydney. The role will support transactions and funds work across wholesale and private equity real estate vehicles.

You will advise on acquisitions, capital raises and debt funding, investment management and property management agreements, trust/registered scheme administration, joint ventures and corporate governance. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage legal risk while aligning with commercial priorities, and coordinate external counsel where needed.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial law with funds or investment management exposure
Experience with fund formation, wholesale/private equity real estate vehicles and investment management agreements
Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills (acquisitions, capital raises, debt)
Practical knowledge of corporate governance and ability to advise business stakeholders
Proven ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running on short engagements
Current practising certificate and legal right to work in Australia
Available for an immediate, approx. 3-month full-time/hybrid contract in Sydney
