Legal Consultant — Corporate Governance

Apply in confidence →Short-term consultancy roles to support corporate governance, regulatory compliance and company secretarial matters across the United Arab Emirates. Assignments are typically full-time and run for around six months, with opportunities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and occasional flexible-working arrangements.
We are seeking lawyers with substantial post-qualification experience (see requirements below) who can provide expert legal advice to financial and energy-sector organisations on governance frameworks, regulatory obligations and remedial actions. Roles will involve advising in-house teams, supporting board and committee processes, and ensuring compliance with regional corporate and regulatory standards.
Successful consultants will be proactive, adaptable and comfortable operating in a client-facing interim capacity; a practising certificate or equivalent entitlement to practise in the region is required.
- 8+ years post-qualification experience (PQE) with significant exposure to corporate governance
- Minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm; recent in-house experience desirable
- Experience working in the Middle East preferred; Arabic language skills are advantageous
- Practising certificate or equivalent entitling you to practise in the region
- Consultant mindset: adaptable, client-focused, able to work autonomously on interim assignments
