Short-term senior lawyer role for corporate/M&A practitioners based in London. You will join a global, self-directed legal consultancy platform backed by a major international law firm, working on assignments (typically six months or more) across public and private M&A, private equity, venture capital and broader corporate and commercial matters.

Assignments include support for M&A and ECM transactions, secondment-style roles into financial institutions and corporates, and in-house transaction work for investment managers and corporates. Consultants have access to firm training, knowledge resources and partner-level support while retaining flexibility over assignment selection and timing.

Applicants must already have the right to live and work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available). The role suits candidates who want greater control over their career, enjoy varied workstreams and can transition quickly into new client environments.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 4–10 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate/M&A work
Minimum of two years' PQE at a top-tier corporate practice or equivalent in-house M&A experience
Experience across public and private M&A, private equity, ECM or related commercial transactional work
Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, and proven project-management ability
Practising certificate (or equivalent) enabling practice in the UK
Right to reside and work in the UK — no sponsorship available
