About the role:

  • Manage workplace investigations, misconduct matters, and integrity-related issues
  • Assess, triage, and manage allegations of misconduct, conflicts of interest, fraud, bullying, and corruption
  • Coordinate internal and external investigations, including managing investigators and ensuring procedural fairness
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations on governance and workplace conduct
  • Prepare high-quality briefing papers and investigation reports for senior stakeholders

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an employment lawyer (private practice or in-house)
  • Strong investigative mindset with attention to detail and commitment to factual decision-making
  • Excellent judgment, analytical skills, and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • Proven stakeholder management and ability to build trust quickly
  • Highly organized, with strong case management skills and ability to prioritize competing demands

Requirements:

  • Current Australian practising certificate (preferred but not essential)
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an employment lawyer
  • Experience managing workplace investigations and misconduct matters
  • Experience assessing and triaging allegations of misconduct, conflicts of interest, fraud, bullying, corruption, or other integrity concerns
  • Proven ability to coordinate internal and external investigations, including managing investigators and ensuring procedural fairness
  • Strong understanding of investigative methodologies, evidence assessment, fact-finding, and report preparation
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and providing practical, risk-based recommendations
  • Ability to prepare high-quality briefing papers and reports for senior stakeholders
  • Excellent discretion and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong case management and prioritization skills
  • Current Australian practising certificate (preferred but not essential)
  • Right to live and work in Australia
