Role Overview: We are seeking a senior lawyer to join a market-leading climate change and carbon markets practice in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic and fast-growing team advising on advisory, commercial, and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise clients on climate change and carbon market issues, including regulatory and commercial aspects.
Work on a range of transactions and projects in the carbon space.
Support senior team members in delivering high-quality legal services to Australian and international clients.
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with strong attention to detail.

About You:

Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience gained in a reputable environmental, climate change, corporate, or finance practice.
Knowledge of climate change and carbon legislation or policy is preferred but not essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong commercial drafting ability.
Proven time management and organisational skills, able to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
Client-focused with a genuine interest in climate change law.
Energetic, driven, and collaborative.
